The Almac Clubsprint XL is a super light-weight performance orientated back to basics two-seater sports car, based around the classic looks of the legendary Lotus 7.

The chassis features a fully triangulated steel space frame design with RHS top and bottom rails plus riveted and bonded aluminium panels to provide the ultimate in torsional strength and rigidity.

Outer body panels are all fiberglass and offered in a wide range of colours.

The Clubsprint XL has been designed with longer and wider dimensions, and as such offers a lot more interior space than any other Lotus 7 or Clubman style replica on the market. This not only allows for a wider range of engines choices in the generous sized engine compartment, but the car can also accommodate a wider range of drivers.

The standard model Clubsprint XL utilises a large number of un-modified 1989 to 2005 Mazda MX5 parts including engine, drivetrain, steering, wiring loom and brake components. This ensures reliability and handling characteristics for which the Mazda MX5 is well known for around the world. Many other custom parts are manufactured by Almac Cars, including the fuel tank, header tank, wiper system and pedal box.

For those seeking more power than what a standard Mazda MX5 delivers, turbo-charged and other powertrain options are available.

All Clubsprint XL models are supplied with full interior trim, plus a wet weather package, featuring removable fiberglass window frames, polycarbonate side windows and soft top hood.
